About Christa

I started my apprenticeship in November 2021 at Main Street Tattoo in Troy MO. I enjoy doing minimalism, black work, lettering, American traditional, and dotwork styles. I love tattooing all sorts of subjects, however my favorites are animals, florals, plants, zodiac, and metaphysical/spiritual. Sometimes I’m not sure if I found tattooing or if tattooing found me, but it started on my journey of self discovery. As a child I was always drawn to art, I spent a lot of time drawing and coloring. I have always been creative and naturally artistic, however I didn’t believe in my abilities and slowly lost the drive to continue. In 2021 I began to do a lot of inner healing work and during the process got a tattoo to symbolize the transformation I was going through. My intuition spoke to me during the session and told me this was something I was meant to do and gave me the nudge to start drawing again. I had always admired tattoos but I had never thought about becoming a tattooist prior to this! It was like coming back home to myself and things manifested quickly from there. I absolutely love everything about tattooing, however I think what I love most is the connection and healing it brings through co- creating between artist and collector.
